Here's how you can create, re-arrange, edit, and delete menu items on your website:
STEP 1: Log in to your dashboard and click on the Content --> Manage Menu. If you don't know how to log in to your website, click here.
You will see all your menu items (and sub-menu items) on this page. Now you have to determine what you want to do with them.
Creating New Menu Items
STEP 1: Click on the Add item tab.
STEP 2: Now you have to find the path of the page you're linking this to. It could be an internal or external (from another side) page.
If it's internal, the path of the page is whatever comes after your URL. For example, if your website is www.joeyadvisor.com and you want to link to the www.joeyadvisor.com/products page, the path would be products.
If it's an external page, then you would simple use the entire URL of that page.
Enter the path information you've found into the Path field. Then, enter the actual text you want to appear in the menu in the Menu link title field. Optional: Enter a description that will be displayed when hovering over a menu item in the Description field. Finally, click Save.
Your new menu item will have been successfully created. By default, this item will be the last one on the menu. You can re-arrange its position however.
Re-arranging Menu Items
STEP 1: Find the item you want to re-arrange in the menu list. You will see a four-way arrow to the left of the menu item. However, over this arrow, then click and hold it to drag the menu item to the desired location (it can be on the primary menu or nested underneath another menu item).
Once the menu item is in desired position, hit Save menu configuration.
Editing Menu Items
STEP 1: Find the menu item you want to edit, and click Edit Item to the right of it.
Edit whichever fields you'd like to, then hit the Save button below.
Deleting Menu Items
STEP 1: If you wish to delete a menu item, find it in the list, then click Delete Item to the right of it. There will be one more page to confirm the choice.
