Let me start by explaining what an anchor is: It's particular spot on a web page that can be linked to (specifically text).
If you have a really long page, it can be useful to use an anchor and save the user from scrolling down through all the content. You can create a link to the anchor and the top of the page, and they'll be sent right to the section they're looking for.
Here's how to add an anchor link to text:
STEP 1: Start by logging into your dashboard. If you don't know how to do that, click here. Next, navigate to the page you'd like to add the anchor to and click Edit current (or Customize if the page has never been modified before).
STEP 2: Highlight the text that you want to anchor to and select the Anchor icon above. (The Flag Button)
STEP 3: Name your anchor in the Anchor Name field that comes up. I'd recommend a simple one word name in lowercase letters. Hit OK.
STEP 4: You'll see a little flag to the left of the selected text to confirm your anchor link. Finally, hit Publish at the top right to put the changes into effect.
