This doesn't look like my dashboard.


New Page Method (External Link/PDF)


If using PDF method, you will firstly need to upload your PDF to the websites file manager. 

  1. Hover over 'Quick Links' on the top left hand side of the dashboard. 
  2. Select 'Manage Files' from quick links drop-down and a new window will open.
  3. Click 'Upload' on the top left hand side of the window.
  4. Select 'Choose File'. 
  5. Select newsletter PDF from 'Desktop' and select 'Open'.
  6. Once selected click 'Upload' below choose file.
  7. Select 'Content' on the left hand side menu
  8. Select 'Pages' and the press the 'New Page' button on the top right
  9. Enter the name of the page in title
  10. Enter the newsletter name into the 'Body' section. (eg. January Newsletter)
  11. Highlight the wording the link will contain
  12. Click link icon found on pages toolbar

     
  13. To add the PDF, click 'Browse Server'.
  14. Double click the PDF you wish to apply to the link
  15. To add an external link enter url link into URL section.
  16. Click 'Ok'. 
  17. Scroll down to add to menu and place the page in the menu as a parent menu item (main menu) or child menu item (drop-down menu item)
  18. To save your progress and to view the page without making it live click the 'Save as draft' button
  19. To publish the page on the live website select edit > then press the green 'Publish' button or the 'Submit to Compliance' button if your website is on a compliance workflow


Force Platform


A newsletter can be uploaded two different ways through the blog section of your dashboard or by creating a new page where you can add your newsletters as a link/PDF. See both methods below:


Blog Page Method


  1. Select my content from the left hand side menu
  2. Select your blog and then press the 'Add New' button
  3. Enter the title of the blog post in title
  4. Enter the content of the blog post into the body section
  5. To save your progress and to view the page without making it live select 'Save as draft' at the bottom
  6. To publish the page on the live website select edit > at the bottom select 'SAVE AND KEEP PUBLISHED' or 'SAVE FOR REVIEW' if your website is on a compliance workflow


New page Method


If using the PDF method, you will firstly need to upload your PDF to the websites file manager

  1. Click on the human icon top right of the dashboard
  2. Select 'File Manager' from drop down list.
  3. Click 'Select File' or drag and drop the file in the bordered area on right.
  4. Click the 'Upload' button in the bottom right once the file is selected.
  5. Select 'My Content' on the left hand menu
  6. Select 'Pages' and then choose add new.
  7. Check provide a menu link box
  8. Enter the menu name (Eg. Newsletter)
  9. Enter the name of the page in title section
  10. Enter the name of the PDF/link title into the 'Body' section (eg January Newsletter)
  11. Highlight the wording the link will contain
  12. Click link icon found on pages toolbar
     
  13. Enter external URL link into URL section.
  14. Enter PDF name into URL Section 
  15. Click 'PDF' once it appears below the URL Section. 
  16. Click 'Advanced' on the bottom of the box
  17. Check 'Open in new window' box.
  18. Click 'OK'.
  19. To save your progress and to view the page without making it live select 'Save as draft' at the bottom
  20. To publish the page on the live website select edit > at the bottom select 'SAVE AND KEEP PUBLISHED' or 'SAVE FOR REVIEW' if your website is on a compliance workflow
