Legacy Platform
A newsletter can be uploaded two different ways: 1) through the blog section of your dashboard or 2) by creating a new page where you can add your newsletters as a link/PDF. See both methods below:
Blog Page Method
- Select 'Content' on the left hand menu
- Select 'Blog Posts' and the press the 'New Blog' button on the top right if blog menu item does not exist.
- Enter title into 'Title Field' section Example: January Newsletter
- Enter the newsletter content into the 'Body' section
- To save your progress, and to view the update without making it live click the 'Save as draft' button
- To publish the update on the live website select edit > then press the green 'Publish' button or the 'Submit to Compliance' button if your website is on a compliance workflow.
To Change Menu Item name:
- Select 'Content' on the left hand menu
- Select 'Manage Menu' bottom left of list.
- Locate blog on list and click 'Edit Item' on the right.
- Change menu link title to desired name Eg Newsletters.
- Click 'Save' on the bottom left side of page.
New Page Method (External Link/PDF)
If using PDF method, you will firstly need to upload your PDF to the websites file manager.
- Hover over 'Quick Links' on the top left hand side of the dashboard.
- Select 'Manage Files' from quick links drop-down and a new window will open.
- Click 'Upload' on the top left hand side of the window.
- Select 'Choose File'.
- Select newsletter PDF from 'Desktop' and select 'Open'.
- Once selected click 'Upload' below choose file.
- Select 'Content' on the left hand side menu
- Select 'Pages' and the press the 'New Page' button on the top right
- Enter the name of the page in title
- Enter the newsletter name into the 'Body' section. (eg. January Newsletter)
- Highlight the wording the link will contain
- Click link icon found on pages toolbar
- To add the PDF, click 'Browse Server'.
- Double click the PDF you wish to apply to the link
- To add an external link enter url link into URL section.
- Click 'Ok'.
- Scroll down to add to menu and place the page in the menu as a parent menu item (main menu) or child menu item (drop-down menu item)
- To save your progress and to view the page without making it live click the 'Save as draft' button
- To publish the page on the live website select edit > then press the green 'Publish' button or the 'Submit to Compliance' button if your website is on a compliance workflow

- Select my content from the left hand side menu
- Select your blog and then press the 'Add New' button
- Enter the title of the blog post in title
- Enter the content of the blog post into the body section
- To save your progress and to view the page without making it live select 'Save as draft' at the bottom
- To publish the page on the live website select edit > at the bottom select 'SAVE AND KEEP PUBLISHED' or 'SAVE FOR REVIEW' if your website is on a compliance workflow
New page Method
If using the PDF method, you will firstly need to upload your PDF to the websites file manager
- Click on the human icon top right of the dashboard
- Select 'File Manager' from drop down list.
- Click 'Select File' or drag and drop the file in the bordered area on right.
- Click the 'Upload' button in the bottom right once the file is selected.
- Select 'My Content' on the left hand menu
- Select 'Pages' and then choose add new.
- Check provide a menu link box
- Enter the menu name (Eg. Newsletter)
- Enter the name of the page in title section
- Enter the name of the PDF/link title into the 'Body' section (eg January Newsletter)
- Highlight the wording the link will contain
- Click link icon found on pages toolbar
- Enter external URL link into URL section.
- Enter PDF name into URL Section
- Click 'PDF' once it appears below the URL Section.
- Click 'Advanced' on the bottom of the box
- Check 'Open in new window' box.
- Click 'OK'.
- To save your progress and to view the page without making it live select 'Save as draft' at the bottom
- To publish the page on the live website select edit > at the bottom select 'SAVE AND KEEP PUBLISHED' or 'SAVE FOR REVIEW' if your website is on a compliance workflow
