You might have heard that we don’t own or host your domain name - only your website. What does this mean?
There are three factors for a website to work and display on the web:
However, there are website providers that also handle the domain name and DNS themselves. If this is the case for your current website, you will need to transfer the domain ownership to a third-party domain provider (e.g. GoDaddy) in order to point your website to us.
1. Reach out to your previous website provider or domain registrar with the following email:
I would like to inform you that I am switching website providers and will require my domain ownership transferred to myself.
Please unlock and provide me with the transfer code for my domain EXAMPLE.COM as soon as possible.
Please let me know if you require any further information from myself to get the process started.
2. Once you receive the code and confirmation, the next steps will differ depending on your new domain provider. The main thing you need to do is initiate the transfer on their side (new provider). If you need assistance, I recommend contacting your new domain provider.
The above instructions can also be followed if you move from one domain provider to another.
Once the Domain transfer is complete please Click Here to connect the domain with the website.
